Man O War Cay
What a nice little harbour! We are protected from heavy winds in all directions and there are no rolly waves. The town is very small but quite charming with multi-coloured cottages.
There are only two methods of transportation - boat or golf cart. The roads are narrow and in some cases wind through the jungle.
The views of the harbour are nice from the main “highway” and a short walk to the other side of the island leads to yet another great beach.
The effects of Dorian can be seen here too although the rebuilding seems to be going quickly. Kitchen cupboards and no house:
A front verandah:
Cute church, but locked even on Sunday:
We had a downpour this afternoon which is unusual in the daytime. Typically the sun shines every day with a consistent temperature of 25 D Celsius. That’s Gaya behind us getting a good wash down:
A nice ending to the day. If the weather is good we will head over to Hopetown for a couple of days.
You're having a great time while we still have our long underwear on. Looking forward to your kind offer of spending 2 weeks on your boat. I'll bring the 🍺. See you guys soon
