Is The Cruising Life For Us?

During our travels, we have met many couples and families with children who have sold everything they own to live on their boat full time. They travel all over the world and home school their children. Gunter and I have discussed whether we could do this and the answer is yes! We will sell our house and cars, buy a bigger boat and fly back to Canada to visit family occasionally - April fool! Did you believe me? We look forward to land life after living in our tiny house for 4 months so far.

On Wednesday we arrived in Marsh Harbor which is the 3rd biggest city/town in the Bahamas. This is a great place to stop for groceries and fuel. The Abacos and this town in particular were devastated by hurricane Dorian in the fall of 2019. There is lots of rebuilding happening but also plenty of evidence of destruction.

It will be interesting to see the changes next year.
Today we had a short trip across the bay to Man O War Cay. All the boats here are on moorings and we were lucky to have one reserved for us by friends of Steve and Lise - Chuck and Margi on V Twin.

We are moored close to land and it reminds us a lot of cottage country at home. Nice spot to stay awhile!
