A Week of Celebrations

The week coming up includes Valentine’s Day, both of our daughters’ birthdays and my sister’s birthday. Lots to celebrate!

Here in George Town, Gunter and I decided it was time to try some fitness classes run by cruiser volunteers. We both went to water aerobics in the ocean just off the beach near us - no picture as it was in the water! I went to a yoga class on the beach - talk about relaxing - lying on the sand and listening to the waves.

On one of our walks, we couldn’t believe we had this beach to ourselves.

We had a couple of very calm days which is unusual for the Bahamas - the calm before the storm.

There has been some rain but it comes and goes so quickly - never hangs around all day and it is still warm.

Steve and Lise returned to the harbour yesterday. The harbour is packed with boats as there is another front arriving tomorrow with winds out of the north expected. Here we go again - hopefully by the end of the month the fronts will be fewer and shorter as Spring comes closer.

This evening everyone has gone to watch the Super Bowl, except me! I had a nice alone time - necessary ever once and awhile as Gunter and I have been together 24/7 for 12 weeks now. A nice sunset with a glass of wine!
